SPECIFIC NOTES TO TENDERERS AND BANKING DETAILS<\/strong><\/p>

There will be no cost to tender documents that are downloaded on the website. The Department of Public Works in KwaZulu-Natal is committed to eradicate corruption in its tendering process. Over the past few months, we have noticed an increase in the number of fake emails requesting prospective service providers to pay money as part of the tendering process. We appeal to the public to be wary of fraudulent activities where scammers misrepresent themselves as officials. The public is urged to follow the approved procurement processes. In addition, we request anyone with information that may lead to the arrest of those behind such cyber-crime to contact law enforcement agencies. Corruption or fraud associated with procurement processes may also be reported to our Fraud and Corruption email address: ReportFraud@kznworks.gov.za. Where there is a cost applicable for a tender document, a non-refundable payment must be made before collection of the documents to the following banking details and proof thereof must be produced upon collection: NO EFT payments will be accepted. Only original deposit slips issued and stamped by the bank teller will be accepted.<\/p>
