PURPOSE: To monitor and evaluate the Office of the Provincial Commissioner and Specialised Units, address complaints and promote community police relations at Provincial Level.

FUNCTIONS:

  1. Monitor and evaluate the implementation of policing policies and directives by the Office of the Provincial Commissioner and Specialised Units;
  2. Monitor and evaluate the service delivery of police service units in the Office of the Provincial Commissioner and Specialised Units;
  3. Address complaints against the Office of the Provincial Commissioner, Specialised Units and Provincial Board;
  4. Develop and maintain the Provincial Community Police Board and Provincial Community Crime Prevention Association and harmonize their activities;
  5. Develop and maintain partnerships at a provincial level.
